Lil Tjay was back behind bars…this time, for unlawful possession of a weapon/firearm without a permit. This is now the rapper’s third gun charge he has received since the start of the year.
Tjay’s stay behind bars was short and he was quickly released.
Weeks ago, Lil Tjay was released on a $90,000 bond after being arrested on illegal weapon charges.
It took place during a traffic stop in the Bronx. According to reports, the rapper was traveling in a black Cadillac Escalade with four other men in the vehicle. The cops reportedly recovered four handguns. He was on his way to a video shoot with Ice Spice and the vehicle was flagged because of its tinted windows and a missing front license plate. The rapper was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.
Last year, the rapper got into hot water with the cops after allegedly being the victim of an attempted robbery.
