Lil Nas X Reveals His Brother Made Him “Open” To Bisexuality

Lil Nas X’s came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and says it was his brother who helped him to come out.

“My brother really opened doors for a lot of people,” he said at the premiere of the new documentary Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero according to Entertainment Weekly.

“Yeah, he opened a door for me. What I mean by that, like, I’m not gay, though, you feel me? I’m bisexual. He helped me be real with myself. My brother made me more open to it.”

Nas X is the first openly gay man to receive a Country Music Association award for his song “Old Town Road.”

The new documentary “Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero,” is directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada and Zac Manuel. It follows the rapper on tour as well as his relationship with his fans.

“I want my fans to see the real me — I am someone who is always joking and making fun 24/7, so through this film they can take what they want to,” he said on the red carpet.
