Lil Durk says he’s returning to making shorter albums after the recent release of his new project, “Almost Healed.”

“I’m going back to 13 songs a album y’all can have that 20+ song album,” Durk wrote. “Make hip hop fun again we understand everybody got money let’s f-ck em up like we was just doing s/o the females who been working salute keep going.”

“Almost Healed” has over 20 songs. It is his eighth studio album his first week sales came in over  124,125 and landed him the #3 spot on Billboard.

This week, Durk’s team made headlines after a report from music blog Raphouse TV which tweeted that “Lil Durk reportedly paid J. Cole $978K for his ‘All My Life’ verse, counting 489 words Cole spat. Cole reportedly charges $2K per word for the feature.”

Cole’s manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad retweeted the rumor and captioned the post, “Cap.”

Should album’s be shorter or do y’all prefer long albums?
