Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy have finally squashed their long-running beef. The pair fell out after the murder of rapper King Von in Atlanta back in 2020.
DJ Akademiks announced the news: “That beef is squashed. You ain’t hear?” he said on livestream. “I’m serious. Durk and YoungBoy don’t have beef no more.”
After YoungBoy sided with Quando Rondo and Lul Tim, after Tim shot and killed Von while defending Quando, Durk saw red. He released the video for “AHHH HA,” taking shots at YoungBoy. Durk and YoungBoy have been trading shots but fans were happy at the news of the repaired friendship.
In a recent interview with XXL, Durk said that he believes he is the voice of the generation.
“Yeah, generation, everything. To me, it’s the world. But when I say Voice of the Streets, it’s just where I came from. Where I come from, what I overcame. So, when I say that, like my voice this, 2.0 this, it’s just showing growth of what I been through,” he told the outlet.
