Lil Durk Allegedly Refused to End Quando Rondo Beef Over King Von: ‘This for Thang and Von’

Lil Durk allegedly rejected an attempt to end his feud with Quando Rondo’s camp just months after Rondo’s cousin was killed in a Los Angeles shooting that prosecutors say Durk helped arrange.

According to court documents obtained Tuesday, August 18, Durk allegedly said in a Christmas Day 2022 text and voice message that Rondo’s associates had reached out to “squash” the conflict and make “peace.”

But Durk allegedly refused.

He reportedly said he was “not hopping on the phone to squash” the feud because “this for thang and von,” an apparent reference to King Von. Durk also allegedly added, “call me bout peace, take the peace of the switch.”

Federal agents believe the comment referred to the weapon used in the August 2022 shooting that killed Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lul Pab.

Prosecutors accuse Durk of paying five men to target Rondo in retaliation for Von’s 2020 killing. Durk has pleaded not guilty and faces a possible life sentence.

His upcoming trial could also feature a 2021 DJ Akademiks interview in which 6ix9ine publicly mocked Durk over Von’s death.

“What is Durk doing [to avenge Von’s death]? He’s not doing shit!” 6ix9ine said.

Durk’s lawyers say he never saw the interview and want it excluded.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin Thursday, August 20.
