Lexie Brown is clearing the air after social media users connected her name to rumors surrounding Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion’s split.
The Lexie Brown star posted a statement on Instagram Stories denying any role in the situation.
“I’ve seen what’s being said online, and I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation,” Brown wrote.
She followed that with a reminder that her priorities are elsewhere right now.
“This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me, and my focus is fully on that.”
Brown’s comments arrived after Megan Thee Stallion confirmed her breakup with Klay Thompson and spoke about what she values in a relationship.
“Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me,” Megan said in a statement.
The rapper added that she is choosing to move forward with “peace and clarity.”
As breakup speculation spread online, Brown moved quickly to distance herself from the online rumors and Meg’s fans have continued to drag Thompson online despite his silence. Several other celebrities have weighed in, including WNBA star Angel Reese who sent a message of support to the rapper as well as Ebro Darden who shared that he was not surprised that Thompson had other women.
