Lexie Brown is addressing rumors linking her to the breakup between Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson, saying she expected the speculation to be shut down by those directly involved.
“I wouldn’t have minded if either one of them came out and said it,” Brown said, explaining that both parties would know the truth of the situation.
Instead, Brown said she has had to deny the allegations on her own publicly. “The truth is over there somewhere, and I was expecting it to reveal itself from that side of it,” she said, calling the experience “really disappointing.”
The WNBA player described the toll the rumors have taken, including threats that led her to increase her security. “I’ve had to hire security to travel with me places. So it got to a point where I just was scared for myself,” Brown shared.

Brown said she knows Thompson through basketball circles and once considered him a friend, while clarifying that she does not have a relationship with Megan.
She also issued a direct denial on social media. “None of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation,” she wrote, adding that her focus remains on her career.
Megan went viral last week after she publicly accused Thompson of cheating on her. Rumors immediately placed Brown at the center of the drama. Fans are now waiting for Megan, who has publicly spoken out against cyberbullying in the past, to speak out and defend Brown.
