Latto Hosts A ROLLER SKATING Album Release Party … Tons Of Celebs (Yung Miami, Etc)

Latto held her album release party yesterday in Atlanta, and Media Take Out was in the building. The event was held at Cascade Skate Park in Atlanta.

Latto and her team bought out the entire skate park, and transformed it into a setting for her new album, entitles “Sugar Honey Ice Tea.” It was amazing how much money they spent to customize the place for Latto – who is quickly becoming the hottest female rapper on the world.

We got a chance to hear the music, and it’s amazing. It was also a movie inside the event. Tons of folks from the music industry were in attendance – most Notably Saucy Santana and Yung Miami, Mariah The Scientist, and Mike Will Made It.

But it we all was an amazing night.

Latto is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. She first appeared on Jermaine Dupri’s reality television series The Rap Game in 2016, where she was known as Miss Mulatto and won the show’s first season, but rejected signing to Dupri’s So So Def Recordings label of which was offered as a result.

Latto rose to prominence as Mulatto after releasing her 2019 single “Bitch from da Souf,” which received double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and marked her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Upon signing with RCA Records, it was issued as the lead single for her debut studio album Queen of da Souf (2020), which performed moderately on the Billboard 200 and spawned the platinum-certified single “Muwop” (featuring Gucci Mane). In 2021, she was named as MTV’s “Global Push Artist of the Month”.
