Media Take Out has the inside scoop on the most anticipated baby shower of 2026! Our girl Latto—who just officially confirmed her pregnancy along with the announcement of her upcoming album BIG MAMA(dropping May 29)—held her first baby shower this past weekend in Atlanta.
But if you were looking for the “baby daddy,” you would have been looking for a while! Fans were shocked to see that 21 Savage (aka Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph) was seemingly a no-show at the cheetah-print-themed event.
The “Old Fashioned” Way: Ladies Only!
Before you start whispering about a “split,” take a deep breath. Media Take Out has learned from multiple sources close to the Clayco queen that the absence was 100% intentional.
“Latto wanted this first one to be very traditional,” an insider told us. “She grew up with the old-fashioned idea that the baby shower is for the women in the family to pour into the mother. 21 was fully supportive and spent the day with his kids and his own crew. There’s zero drama in the ‘Business & Personal’ household!”

The event was an intimate, high-end affair at a private estate in Buckhead, featuring:
Signature Cheetah Decor: A nod to her Big Mama cover art.
Family First: Her sister Brooklyn Nikole (rocking a “Rich Auntie” fit) and her mother were front and center.
No Cameras Allowed: Except for a few choice IG stories, Latto kept this one strictly for the inner circle.
Round 2: The “Industry” Extravaganza Is Coming!
If you’re waiting for the star-studded photos, you won’t have to wait long. We’re told that Latto and 21 are planning a second, massive “Industry” shower for next weekend!
This is the one where we expect to see the “Big Energy” favorites like Cardi B, SZA, and Chlöe Bailey (who all sent huge floral arrangements to Latto’s house last week). We’re told the theme is “Royal Safari” and that 21 Savage will definitely be in attendance for this one as they celebrate their first child together.
“My Man, My Man, My Man”
Latto has been moving strategically ever since she “soft-launched” the romance in her “Business & Personal” video (where eagle-eyed fans spotted 21’s tattooed hand on her bump). While they’ve been dating since 2020, they only went “Official” this past September when Latto called him her “husband” during a New York City outing.
It looks like Latto is handling her pregnancy the same way she handles her career: On her own terms.
