Media Take Out confirmed that an Instagram page owned by a model was hacked and maliciously claimed that she is having a baby with Xscape star LaTocha Scott’s husband, Rocky Bivens.
The page made it seem as if the model made the announcement on IG, along with a picture of her smiling with the Xscape star’s husband.
The hacker wrote on IG, “the most f***ed up thing the universe can do to you is let you meet the right person at the wrong time I’m just tired of living a lie all these years and ready to live in my truth freely and in peace unapologetically.”
It continued, “I have no beef wit Latocha, never interfered with any of his dealings with Xscape, never made him choose. Me and Rocky had our own situation. I know this may be shocking news but this was a very complicated relationship that I couldn’t speak on for obvious reasons. Life can be a bitch and ima make sure mines is beautiful either way. It Is what It Is.”
The hacker then posted a picture of a sonogram, suggesting that she’s pregnant with her married boyfriend’s child. Look:
This drama comes at the heels of some internal strife inside the poplar 1990s girl group.
As Media Take Out reported, Xscape star LaTocha Scott was looking for a little ‘Understanding’ as the fall-out from the group’s appearance at the Soul Train Awards taping in Las Vegas.
The 2022 ceremony saw the quad honored with the Lady of Soul honor.
And while that (along with their showstopping performance) was the anticipated talking point, their internal beef took centerstage after LaTocha showed up on the carpet rocking an entirely different dress and color scheme to her bandmates – Kandi Burruss, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, and her sister Tamika Scott.
In the days since, the members have traded jabs online and debated the particulars – with LaTocha stressing that the move was not intentional and rather miscommunication between her stylist and the group’s.
And now, she’s speaking up and out the more with a more detailed address.
In an open letter on Instagram, she wrote:
“First off, I’d like to apologize to all of the fans. It’s so unfortunate that I have to tell my truth this way. However, in this new space, I won’t be silenced by who has the bigger following. If I don’t say anything I’m dragged, and if I do say something I’m dragged. So here it goes…”
She went on to bemoan her “sisters” not “coming to my defense” over what she says was an understandable miscommunication between external professionals.
Now it appears that LaTocha is having other issues, this time closer to home that needs resolution as well.
