The police investigating rapper PnB Rock’s recent murder confirmed that his girlfriend’s post 20 minutes prior to his death, may have given away his location to robbers who pulled up and fatally shot him.

Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said he “was with his family — with his girlfriend or some kind of friend of his — and as they’re there, enjoying a simple meal, [he] was brutally attacked by an individual who apparently [came] to the location after a social media posting,” per the Los Angeles Times.

The girlfriend not only posted a plate of her food, but tagged the image with her location.

Cops say the rapper was targeted for his jewelry. The assailant shot him before leaving the restaurant and hopping into a getaway car.

The LAPD is currently examining security video from inside the restaurant to identify the shooter and checking surrounding businesses to see whether security systems captured any images of the killer entering and leaving the venue.
