Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has broken her silence on Jax Taylor’s shock exit from Bravo series, The Valley.
Jax recently announced his plans to step away from filming to focus on his recovery following backlash from viewers.
“No matter what anybody thinks from the outside, recovery is like the most important thing. Taking a step back to focus on recovery and mental health, I think that that is a very smart move, and I think anybody who has half a brain can get behind that statement,” she said on her Give Them Lala podcast.
Lala is best friends with Jax’s estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
Jax faced major heat for his abuse towards Brittany both on and off camera, but Lala says that fans of the show have also been tough on Brittany.
“Even the Internet, [Brittany] has said, has been pretty hard on her, and I think that’s completely unfair. It’s very easy to throw stones from afar … And I think Brittany has handled everything beautifully. She stepped up taking care of her son. No one hustles harder than Brittany Cartwright. And I do see a version at some point of them being able to co-parent in a very healthy way. I think if he puts his head down, focuses on the work, you know, a year goes by so quickly,” she added.
