Allegations of sexual assault against Hollywood star Armie Hammer are currently being reviewed by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
“I can confirm that the LAPD has presented a case regarding Armie Hammer to the LADA. The matter is currently under review,” the office’s communications director told CNN.
In February 2021, a woman made several shocking claims against Hammer before others stepped forward. He was hit with claims of nonconsensual BDSM activities and even cannibalism.
In an interview with Air Mail in February, Hammer said all encounters was consensual. “Every single thing was discussed beforehand,” he said. “I have never thrust this on someone unexpectedly. Never.”
The actor went on to say “I would scoop up these women, bring them into it – into this whirlwind of travel and sex and drugs and big emotions flying around – and then as soon as I was done, I’d just drop them off and move on to the next woman, leaving that woman feeling abandoned or used.”
