Kyle Richards and estranged husband Mauricio Umanskey announced their plans to divorce last summer but it seems that not even couple’s therapy can save their marriage of 27 years.
“We haven’t been in therapy in a while to be honest. We’re just taking a break from that but we get along very well and we’re very good friends. We get along well,” Kyle said on Amazon Live.
Kyle and Mauricio met in 1994 and tied the knot two years later in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, plus Kyle has a daughter from a previous relationship – Farrah Brittany who is 35.
Kyle has refused to say exactly why she filed for divorce but that Maurcio did things to “lose her trust.”
“With any marriage there’s issues that you have, and they come up, and then something like I said in my interview happened where I did lose my trust,” she said in the season finale.
“I care about my family first, and I really did try, and then when I couldn’t, the kind of things that I was, I don’t want to say putting up with, just became more apparent to me, I guess I couldn’t do that anymore and I finally just had a breaking point.”
