Kyle Richards Forced to Sue Kim Richards After Years of Support!

Kyle Richards’ decision to sue sister Kim Richards for eviction last year came after years of trying to help her, according to Teddi Mellencamp.

During a recent episode of Two Ts in a Pod, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said Kyle and Kathy Hilton had long supported Kim, including financially.

“Yes, they did say, ‘You need to get help if you want us to keep paying for you,’” Teddi said.

She added that Kyle purchased the Encino condo where Kim had been living for years.

“It’s a house that [Kyle] bought for Kim,” Teddi continued. “I think Kyle supports Kim financially.”

News surfaced earlier this month that Kyle filed a lawsuit in January 2025 seeking to remove Kim from the property after asking her to leave in late 2024. Kim did not respond to the filing, and Kyle was granted a default judgment in March. Kim later moved out of the condo.

According to Teddi, the lawsuit was meant to push Kim toward getting help.

“Kyle has a good heart and will always end up saying yes [to help her sister],” she said. “But this is from a really long time ago.”

Teddi also shared an update on Kim, who now lives in Florida.

“I think Kim, since then, has gotten better,” she said. “I mean, Kim is still well taken care of, like, come on.”
