Kodak Black’s attorney has called out the media for their coverage of the rapper’s release from jail.
Yak was released from Broward County main jail last week and was videotaped throwing rocks at reporters.
“I’m sure the mainstream won’t carry it. @tmz_tv will probably only run something negative. But we know how @kodakblack moves and what he’s been doing since day one. It’s a shame when people only want negativity on someone,” he wrote on Instagram.
Bradford Cohen shared that Yak being released his jail before he stepped foot on the street. In the video, no members of Yak’s team were at the door ready to receive him and fans questioned why his team were not ready to whisk him away as soon as he was released.
Cohen wants the media to focus on the rapper’s charitable works instead.
“In typically Kodak fashion, he just pledged to donate to the college fund of a 2-year-old and a 5 month old. Whose father was a Minnesota officer killed recently in the line of duty. Expecting his 2nd son this Friday, he knows how important family is and hopes it helps relieve some burden,” he added.”
