Kodak Black says fans won’t be seeing a collab with him and Drake anytime soon because of the Canadian rapper’s joint album, Her Loss, with 21 Savage.

“I had told Drake I don’t wanna do no collab. No songs or no album. ‘Cause we supposed to done did a whole album before him a lil’ buddy,” said Yak. “Before him and lil’ buddy did that sh-t. I had told him I wanted to wait [until] like, 2023. Like, after February.”

Last summer, Yak announced he had some music on the way with Drizzy. “Me and Drake, we got some more music,” he said at the time. “It’s really on like whenever bruh might feel like he ready and stuff. They be like, ‘Is we gon’ drop the album? We gon’ do this?’ It’s really on him. We got a lot of songs, though.”

Kodak is reportedly not the only rapper unhappy about the album. N.O.R.E. claimed on The Breakfast Club weeks back that Future was not pleased with Drake’s decision to do the album.
