Kodak Black Pleads NOT GUILTY To Cocaine Possession Charges

Lyndon Abioye |

Kodak Black has pleaded not guilty to charges of third-degree cocaine possession, tampering with physical evidence and improper stop/stand/park after he was arrested last week in Plantation, Florida.

According to police report, Kodak’s Bentley SUV was found parked in the roadway where he was found asleep in the driver’s seat.

An officer opened the door to turn off the vehicle. When they did, they said they saw a cup in the door with a substance that smelled like alcohol. Officers also discovered “cannabis wrapping paper and suspect cannabis residue” on the console and a white powder “believed Kapri was trying to discard illegal narcotics.” Yak’s mouth was reportedly “full of white powder.”

His attorney, Bradford Cohen is requesting a trial by jury and will be filing a motion to suppress this week.

Kodak has not spoken out about the arrest but since his Drink Champs interview, where he appeared to be under the influence of something, fans have been concerned for his health.
