In his controversial interview with Drink Champs, Kodak Black claimed that T.I. and Big Boi once tried to get him kicked off the Atlantic Records label.

N.O.R.E. asked Yak to choose between UGK and OutKast.

“Exclude him,” he said of Big Boi. “That f-ck n-gga tried to get me kicked off the label. He tried to get me kicked off Atlantic…him and T.I. Bitch-ass,” said Yak.

He continued: “I ain’t gon’ lie, when I was a young n-gga right, I used to always say like how T.I. looked on the ATL movie and s-it, I used to always say Big Boi look like T.I. Like, a little bit of T.I., then you get the C-Murder, and sh-t.”

Fans reacted to the interview in the comments.

“I always been a fan of Kodak, but to say that this is his best interview and that he’s a genius and fully in control is a total mischaracterization. The young man can’t even sit still or complete a sentence,” a concerned fan wrote. “I’ve seen a lot of Kodak interviews and I must say this is probably the lowest and saddest I have ever seen him. That man is going through something, we can’t normalize this type of behavior. There’s a vid of him last month on live tweaking. I do hope yak gets the help he needs, very talented man.”
