Florida rapper Kodak Black is not usually known for showing his vulnerable side, but this week, the rapper appeared to break down after a fan told him he should go to jail so that he could sober up. The rapper surrendered to authorities earlier this week after a warrant was issued for his arrest in his prescription drug case for failing to show up for a mandatory urine test.
However, he posted bond shortly after with his lawyer asking the judge to remove the tight pretrial conditions. Not long after, the rapper appeared on Live (seemingly under the influence) and fans quickly became concerned.
“Damn, what kind of person are you? This motherfcka say, ‘You need to go back to jail and sober up, Yak. For real, for real, man,'” the fan wrote. The rapper responded: “How and why do you feel like that’s the answer to my… whatever you feel like?” he said. Kodak began to explain to recount a conversation he had with an officer who asked him why he was constantly getting into trouble. “I was like ‘shit… when mothafckas know you chosen and sh*t, that’s when they torment you,” he said.
