“Tardy For The Parenting!” Kim Zolciak Mandated To 4 Therapy Sessions After Losing Temporary Custody To Kroy… And What’s This About A Dog Bite?! (DETAILS)
Media Take Out has the latest update on the never-ending divorce saga of the century! Just when you thought Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann couldn’t get any messier, a Georgia judge just dropped a “reality check” on the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum.
As of yesterday, April 3, 2026, Kim has officially been ordered to stay away from her four youngest children until she completes four mandatory parent therapy sessions. This “time-out” is the result of Kroy’s emergency filing last week, where he begged the court for sole custody, claiming Kim has been “wholly unavailable” to their kids.

The April 13th Deadline
The court documents, which were finalized on Friday, are very specific. The kids—KJ (14), Kash (13), and twins Kaia and Kane (12)—will remain in Kroy’s physical custody until Kim finishes her homework.
The Window: Kim has from April 3 to Monday, April 13, to complete all four sessions.
The Proof: There will be a strict verification process. No therapy, no “Tardy for the Party” reunions!
The “Nightmare” Night: A Dog Bite Allegation?
Kroy’s filing included some truly disturbing allegations to support his claim that Kim is “mismanaging basic parenting responsibilities.” He alleged that during the one night Kim saw the kids between February 26 and March 28, a dog bit one of their children.
This is particularly sensitive for the Biermann family, as their son Kash was famously hospitalized in 2017 after a traumatic dog bite from the family’s own pet, Sinn. Kroy is using this latest incident to argue that the home environment under Kim’s watch is unsafe.
Kim Claps Back: “I’m Working, Not Neglecting!”
Kim isn’t taking these “scrub” allegations lying down. She gave an exclusive statement to TMZ, insisting she hasn’t “lost” custody and that the new order is just a temporary modification.
“These accusations are completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character,” Kim said. “I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family. I will never apologize for making sure my children are cared for.”

Kim claims she missed the previous therapy sessions because she was out of the country filming, and she plans to knock out all four required sessions during the kids’ Spring Break—which just happens to be Kroy’s scheduled parenting time anyway.
The “Foreclosure” Shadow
While the custody battle rages on, the couple is still living in their Milton, Georgia, mansion, which has faced multiple foreclosure threats over the last three years. Insiders tell Media Take Out that the stress of their $1.1 million IRS debt is what’s really fueling these “petty” court filings.
Is Kim a “Boss Babe” just trying to pay the bills, or is Kroy right that she’s put her career over her kids? Let us know in the comments!
