Kim Zolciak is defending her teenage son after he was arrested on two felony charges and is being prosecuted as an adult in Georgia.
KJ Biermann, 15, was arrested on August 17 in Alpharetta and charged with aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy in connection with an alleged incident from April, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
The teen, whose full name is Kroy Jagger Biermann, is being charged as an adult under Georgia’s SB440 law, which gives adult superior courts jurisdiction over juveniles accused of certain violent felonies.
Kim said her son denies the allegations.
“He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum said in a statement.
She also claimed KJ voluntarily underwent a polygraph and passed, and said an examination did not find his DNA.
“False accusations can have devastating consequences not only for the person being accused, but also for genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse,” said Kim.
She added that her family remains “confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth.”
KJ is currently being held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center pending a preliminary hearing in September.
He is the oldest son of Kim and estranged husband Kroy Biermann, who also share Kash and twins Kaia and Kane.
