Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Denies Any Role in $9.4 Million Cocaine Smuggling Bust!

Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand is distancing itself from a cocaine smuggling case after a truck carrying the company’s products was connected to a convicted drug trafficker in England.

In a statement shared with TMZ, a representative for the shapewear company said SKIMS had no involvement in the criminal operation tied to the shipment.

“SKIMS is aware of the recent news involving a shipment with our products,” the spokesperson said. “We want to be absolutely clear: SKIMS had no knowledge whatsoever about this criminal activity.” The company also stated, “We had no connection to the smuggling operation, the driver, or the truck.”

Authorities said Polish national Jakub Jan Konkel was sentenced Monday to 13 years and six months in prison after pleading guilty to trafficking cocaine. According to investigators, Konkel transported 28 pallets of SKIMS clothing from the Netherlands into England last September. After the truck arrived at the Port of Harwich, Border Force officers searched the trailer and allegedly uncovered 90 hidden packages of cocaine near the rear doors.

Officials estimated the drugs were worth nearly $9.4 million.

Authorities made it clear that the SKIMS merchandise itself was legitimate and said the clothing shipment was allegedly used as cover for the narcotics. Konkel initially denied knowing the cocaine before later admitting he agreed to smuggle the drugs in exchange for about $5,300, according to reports.
