Kim Kardashian is reportedly happy to have her daughter North West with her on her trip to Paris…years after she was robbed for her jewelry.
“Kim is so grateful to have North with her because Paris is always a difficult city to return to emotionally for Kim,” a source told HollywoodLife. “She has gotten over the trauma of everything that happened to her, but she will never be able to forget the robbery. North has provided Kim so much comfort and she is loving every second of it.”
In October 2016, Kim was robbed at gunpoint by a group of masked men in her Paris hotel room. The gang took more than $10 million worth of jewelry. The suspects were arrested and hit with charges for robbery with a weapon committed in an organized gang, kidnapping and forcible confinement, or criminal association.
There were at least 12 arrests made.
“He grabbed me, and pulled me towards him. But I wasn’t wearing anything underneath [my bathrobe],” Kim told Ellen Degeneres. “So I was like, ‘OK, this is the time, I’m going to get raped. Just deal, like, it’s gonna happen.’ You know, like just prepare yourself.”
“But then he tied me up, with handcuffs and then zip ties, and duct tape. And then duct-taped my mouth, and then my eyes.”
