Kim Kardashian Awarded $1.15 Nearly 10 Years After Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian asked for just €1 after the terrifying 2016 Paris robbery, and a French court has now awarded it to her.

A lawyer involved in the case confirmed the symbolic sum, worth about $1.15. Kardashian, 45, requested the amount after testifying earlier this year about being held at gunpoint and robbed of millions of dollars in jewelry.

Her longtime friend Simone Harouche, who was staying downstairs at the hotel when the robbery happened, was also awarded €1 at her request.

“We are grateful to the French justice system for recognizing us as victims of the terrible events that took place in Paris in 2016,” Kardashian and Harouche said in a joint statement.

“The experience was deeply traumatic, and its impact has stayed with us,” they added. “Today’s decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition.”

Kardashian was alone in her room on October 3, 2016, when masked men entered, tied her up and stole jewelry reportedly worth about $6 million. Most of the pieces have never been recovered.

During the 2025 trial, Kardashian testified that she “absolutely did think I was gonna die” during the attack.

Eight defendants were later convicted in connection with the robbery, while two were acquitted.
