Rapper Killer Mike broke his silence after he was arrested Sunday after Grammy-winning three awards.
The rapper was arrested after an alleged “physical altercation” during part of the ceremony.
“I greatly appreciate the concern and support, but I am better than OK. As you can imagine, there was a lot going and there was some confusion around which door my team and I should enter,” he said in a statement to the press.
“We experienced an over-zealous security guard but my team and I have the utmost confidence that I will ultimately be cleared of all wrongdoing Until that time, keep listening to ‘Michael,’ and keep going after your dreams.”
Killer Mike was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after allegedly injuring a female security guard and is due to appear in court on February 29, according to jail records.
