Kevin Federline is preparing to move his family to Hawaii…but he says he won’t force his sons to visit their famous mother, Britney Spears, if that’s not what they want.
TMZ spoke to a source who informed them of his decision. According to reports, the singer is actually fine with the move.
“To her credit, Britney Spears will not interfere with and consents to the relocation,” her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, wrote in a legal letter to Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan.
Federline has been accused of moving to the island to extend child support.
In Hawaii, child support payments last until the child is 23 if they are enrolled full-time in either an accredited college or university or a vocational or trade school.
Last month, Britney’s lawyer was issued an ultimatum by Kevin’s lawyer that Britney needed to respond to Kevin’s request to move their kids or they would be taken to court. The failed pop star says his wife, Victoria Prince, was ready to accept a job offer at a local university in Hawaii but had to turn it down because of his custody arrangement with Britney.
