The woman accused of selling the ketamine that led to Matthew Perry’s fatal overdose will spend the next 15 years in prison.
Jasveen Sangha was sentenced Wednesday after previously pleading guilty to running a drug house and selling ketamine, including the batch that prosecutors say ultimately reached the Friends actor.
Sangha, 42, admitted to one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises and several drug distribution charges. Prosecutors alleged she sold ketamine to Erik Fleming, an associate of Perry’s, who then gave the drugs to Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s live-in assistant.
Authorities said Iwamasa injected Perry with ketamine on Oct. 28, 2023. The actor was discovered later that day at his Los Angeles home. He was 54.

Court records say Sangha and Fleming sold Perry 51 vials of ketamine earlier that month. After news of Perry’s death became public, prosecutors said Sangha tried to erase evidence.
“After learning from news reports of Perry’s death, Sangha called Fleming on Signal to discuss how to distance themselves from it,” federal prosecutors said. Investigators said she later instructed Fleming to “Delete all our messages.”
Four other people have pleaded guilty in the case, including Fleming, Iwamasa and two doctors.
