Kendrick Lamar continues to own Drake in the rap beef and his last single, “Not Like Us,” now holds the Spotify record for the biggest single day streams of a hip-hop song.
Drake and Lil Baby’s “Girls Like Girls,” previously held the record.
“Not Like Us” reached 10.986 million streams on its first day on the streaming platform. K.Dot also set the record for the biggest streaming day for a hip-hop song in 2024 beating out “Girls Like Girls,” by more than three million streams.
A report from Billboard also showed that streaming for the West Coast artist’s catalog is up by 49% and Drake’s has decreased by 5%.
Drake has been quiet since The Culture called K.Dot as the winner of the beef. The rapper who boasted about being the greatest rapper alive, can no longer make those claims. Fans speculate that a Kendrick album is on the way any day now.
Will Drake release new music soon too?
