Keefe D, the man accused of the murder of late rapper Tupac Shakur, cannot afford a defense attorney so he will have to be represented by a public defender.
Keefe D is scheduled for arraignment Thursday, and Clark County District Court Judge Tierra Jones could order a financial accounting of Davis’ assets to determine if he can afford a lawyer.
Keefe D was has been charged with the Category A felony of “murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.”

He was supposed to be arraigned on October 4th but as he did not have an attorney in court representing him, he could not.
Davis sat down and spoke with DJ Vlad and The Art of Dialogue several times about the night of the murder. He also claimed Diddy put a hit out on the later rapper, offering $1 million for Pac’s death but never paid out.
“Today justice will be served in the murder of Tupac Shakur,” Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said at the time. “I know a lot of people have been watching and waiting for this day.”
