Katt Williams is still going viral, after giving an explosive interview with Shannon Sharpe – where he embarrassed some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
Now it’s time for the Hollywood folks to get their revenge.
Media Take Out received MULTIPLE calls from well placed entertainment insiders to look into a lawsuit that Katt is currently fighting – and we did.
It turns out that Katt just had a “default judgement” thrown out of court. It stems from a lawsuit filed by a woman whom he employed nearly 10 years ago. Now that case is preparing to go to trial.
And she had dome horrific things to say about what happened with her and Katt.
In the lawsuit, the woman Angelina Triplett-Hill worked for Katt is 2014 as his personal assistant and management liaison while he was working on a film in California.
On September 12, 2014, Angelina says that Katt “attacked” her.
Angelina says that she and Katt’s entourage were gathered at an outdoor movie set at a baseball field located in Los Angeles – and she took a phone call. That’s when things went left.
The lawsuit states, “[Katt] ordered plaintiff into the group’s vehicle, seized plaintiff s phone, swore at her, and struck her in the face multiple times.”
“After being struck by Williams, Triplett-Hill fell onto concrete and hit her head against the concrete, which left her disoriented,” she added.
“A member of Williams’ entourage who witnessed the incident called for paramedics, and plaintiff was taken to Santa Monica UCLA hospital by ambulance.”
“Triplett-Hill remained in the hospital for three days as a result of the injuries she sustained during Williams’ attack. Physicians determined that her injuries included bruising and pain on the left side of her face.”
“She also lost consciousness for some period of time, and suffered from pain in the left neck area, diagnosed as acute cervical myofascial strain.”Additionally, she suffered from low blood pressure, vertigo, vomiting, disorientation, headaches, light-headedness, and severe chest pains. Id. A police report was taken the day of the incident.”
Angelina says that she has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (“PTSD”) and depression following the attack – she’s asking for $1,685,247 in damages. – $48,247 in medical expenses, $26,000 for past therapy sessions, $75,000 for future therapy sessions intended to address her ongoing PTSD and depression, $36,000 in lost wages from defendant Williams, $450,000 for past pain, suffering, and emotional distress, $300,000 for future pain, suffering and emotional distress, and $750,000 in punitive damages.
Angelina also states in the lawsuit, “Williams has a long history of abusing women” and because “Williams actions were malicious, despicable, and it was not his first incident nor will it be his last unless something is done to stop him.”
