Kanye West has apologized for his rants against the Jewish community last year.
In the Instagram post, Ye apologized for “unplanned outbursts caused by [my] words or actions.”
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future,” he wrote. “Your forgiveness is important to me and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”
Ye lost his billionaire status after his rants. He was dropped from Adidas, his partnership with GAP came to an end, and lots of people and companies distanced themselves from him.
Ye is getting ready to drop a brand new album next month. Some think Ye might double back on his apology soon.
