Kanye West has responded to backlash after he and Candace Owens wore WHITE LIVES MATTER shirts during his YEEZY SZN 9 show during Paris Fashion Week.

After social media went crazy, Ye posted a message to his Instagram Stories, “EVERYONE KNOWS THAT BLACK LIVES MATTER WAS A SCAM.”

Kanye publicly thanked Candace Owens back in February for publicly defending him during his rants against Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

“Kanye’s constant need for attacking me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” Kardashian said in a statement. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.”

“Kim is wrong on this one,” Candace wrote in a tweet. “The psychological effects of social media on young girls is real and documented. It’s actually Kanye that is trying to protect his daughter in this regard and Kim is spinning this as ‘obsession’ and ‘control’. There are other creative outlets for kids.”

Ye responded in his IG Stories, “THANK YOU CANDACE FOR BEING THE ONLY NOTEWORTHY PERSON TO SPEAK ON THIS ISSUE THERE’S A LOT OF CELEBRITIES SCARED TO SAY SOMETHING IN PUBLIC BUT THEY’LL TEXT ME IN PRIVATE AND SAY THEIR ON MY SIDE.”
