Kanye West’s divorce attorney, Samantha Spector, has stepped down from representing him. This appears to be the third divorce lawyer he has fired (or has quit) amid his split from Kim Kardashian.
According to The Blast, Spector filed to withdraw from the high-profile family law case. Spector said it was down to an “irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship.”
Kim filed for divorce from Ye in February and was declared legally single this year.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all,” she wrote on Instagram Stories.
“I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably,” Kardashian continued.
Kim talked about her divorce drama on The Kardashians.
“I do recognize the impact that my relationship has had on my family and I’ve never had the opportunity to just say, ‘I’m sorry, guys,”’ Kardashian said on the series. “I protected that for so long, but I said I will never let that happen to you guys again.”
