In another clip from an unreleased documentary on Kanye West, the rapper is seen going off in a rant about G.O.O.D. Music.
The rapper wanted off from the label as he claimed he was giving away some of his biggest hits to other artists.
“It’s gon’ be a get me out this muthaf-ckin’ G.O.O.D. Music sh-t now. And Scooter, ain’t gonna be no, ‘Oh, I’m still putting my name on this sh-t.’ I need to get rid of G.O.O.D. Music ’cause I’m great. And guess what? Good is the enemy of great,” he is seen telling former manager, Scooter Braun.
Leaked footage from a 2018 Ye documentary captures Kanye West complaining about Nas rapping off beat on the song 'Cops Shot The Kid' and saying he doesn't feel appreciated.

“The f-ck I’m doing giving [Gonna Love Me] to f-cking Teyana? What the f-ck I’m doing giving that Daytona album to Pusha? What the f-ck I’m doing, bro? That sh-t was three Dark Fantasys that I gave away. ‘Cops Shot the Kid,’ Nas rapping all goddamn off beat on it, don’t even wanna shoot a video. Then shoot a video, don’t even tell me. These muthaf-ckas don’t appreciate me. All these muthaf-ckas is tryna use me,” Ye yells at Braun.
He added: “I’m the greatest muthaf-ckin’ artist living and I could do everything. And I’m not being expanded and my vision is not being expanded to what it is. I’m performing at other people’s festivals and sh-t. I’ve been wanting a f-cking festival.”
In 2022 it was reported that G.O.O.D. Music is no longer a part of Def Jam Recordings and that Ye’s deal with the label expired.
