Kandi Burruss is opening up about where things stand with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Todd Tucker, as their divorce continues to play out.
During a recent livestream, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star answered fan questions and addressed whether she could see a friendship with Todd once the legal process is over. Kandi, who announced their separation in November 2025 after 11 years of marriage, sounded hopeful but realistic.
“I hope. I hope we get to be friends,” she said. “That would be my goal.” She added, “But you know when you’re going through the divorce, people get on your nerves, and you really start looking at them differently.”
She shared her hope is for both of them to come out of the split “unscathed,” especially as they continue to sort through custody and financial matters in court. Todd has requested primary custody of their two minor children and has challenged their prenuptial agreement, while Kandi has asked the court to uphold it.
Shortly after BravoCon 2025, Kandi spoke publicly about her decision to move forward. “I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth,” she said, asking fans for “privacy, grace, and understanding.”
