Kandi Burruss: Todd Tucker Is Squatting In My Home … I Want Him OUT!

Tiffany Brockworth |

The divorce drama between Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker just took another sharp turn. And this time, it’s about real estate and real money.

New court documents reviewed by Media Take Out show that Kandi is attempting to evict Todd from her Atlanta guest house, where she says he has been living since their separation.

According to the filing, the guest house sits on property Kandi purchased before the marriage. She makes it clear in the documents that it is solely hers. And she claims Todd has not contributed financially to the upkeep of the home at all. Not utilities. Not gas. Not lawn care. Not water. Not pest control. Not even the alarm system fees.

In short, Kandi says he has not paid a single expense tied to the property.

But that is only part of the dispute.

Kandi also alleges that Todd has not been contributing financially to the primary household where their two children, Ace and Blaze, reside. While Todd has publicly presented himself as an active father, Kandi says she is the traditional caregiver and that a nanny handles much of the day to day responsibilities.

Yes, she admits she has been working in New York on Broadway since November 2025 and is scheduled to remain there through March. But in her filing, she says she has been flying back and forth to Atlanta to be with the children despite her demanding schedule.

Now here is where it gets even more pointed.

Kandi claims the children have celebrated two birthdays since she filed for divorce in November 2025. She says Todd attended both parties but did not contribute financially to either celebration. She further alleges he has not helped with tuition, school fees, supplies, or provided any formal child support.

With that backdrop, Kandi is asking the court to order Todd to begin paying child support and to share in the children’s expenses moving forward. She is also requesting a formal parenting schedule to prevent future disputes.

This is a major shift in tone from earlier filings, where Todd argued that Kandi agreed during their marriage to cover household expenses and that he should not be cut off from that arrangement during the divorce.

Now Kandi appears to be saying enough is enough.

Trying to evict your soon to be ex from the guest house is not exactly subtle. But according to the documents, she believes she has been carrying the financial load alone and wants the court to step in.

No ruling has been issued yet. But if this case keeps escalating at this pace, the courtroom might become the only place these two can settle it.

Stay tuned. This one is far from over.
