During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Bravo executive Andy Cohen welcomed Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss, who read out several questions from the fans.
Cohen shared that the number one question from the fans was if she’d ever return to the show. Cohen asked Burruss if she was “open” to the idea or if she was “completely closed off.”
“I mean, I guess you could say ‘never say never’ but I don’t see it happening anytime soon,” she responded.
Cohen shared that he was happy with her response.
Last February, Kandi announced she would not be returning for Season 16 of RHOA, after an impressive 14 consecutive seasons on the show.
“It’s just like, after you really have time to think, and a friend of mine was like, ‘Why do you keep doing it?’ And I was like, ‘Well, I think because I’ve just been doing it for so long, it feels weird to think not to do it?'” she said, “So I was just like, ‘You know what? I’m going to take a break, I’m going to take a moment. I’m not coming back this year,'” she said while on the red carpet.
In the past, Kandi has stated that she would not remain on the show if Phaedra Parks were to return. In Season 9, Phaedra spread a rumor that Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanted to drug and sexually assault Porsha Williams. It was later revealed to be a lie.
Phaedra returned for the show’s 19th season after Kandi’s exit.
