Kandi Burruss clapped back at Tamar Braxton after she accused her and her husband, Todd Tucker, of trying to fight her last fall. Tamar posted on her Instagram Story that she was “threatened” by a RHOA couple.
On Watch What Happens Live, Tamar confirmed to Andy that she was referring to Kandi and Todd.
“The only thing I’ll say right now is … that’s not true. My husband never said nothin’ to her. He did not threaten her. None of that,” Kandi told Hollywood Life. “She and I did have words, but he didn’t. Some people like to twist things a little bit, but we can talk about it later on a different platform. Or not.”
Speaking to Andy Cohen, Tamar said: “I get to the point when I’m like, ‘Look dog, this is not [the] Housewives. I’m not getting paid to sit here and argue with you like this,” Tamar recalled. “I am trying to completely deescalate the situation … And then Todd-ina comes out and like, he comes and get her and he says something to her and then he looks at me in my face — y’all gonna believe this sh-t or not — [he] looks at me in my face and go, ‘You know what it is.’
“Me and Kandi or me and another female can argue all day long but when it comes to dudes in another woman’s face to physically threaten them and harm them, that’s when the line is drawn,” she stated. “There’s no reason for a man to ever step to a woman, period.”
