Vice President Kamala Harris has tested positive for Covid-19.

CNN reports that Harris has been working from the Naval Observatory.

“The vice president remains asymptomatic. She is feeling good and has been in touch with staff and working. We are taking all necessary steps to ensure her continued health,” the White House official said.

Harris tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday morning.

Harris’ office announced she had been prescribed and had used Pfizer’s Paxlovid after a consultation with her doctors.

“She has been given Paxlovid. That’s something many Americans may be eligible for. They should also consult with their doctor. And I think overall, we’re just grateful that this is an approved drug on the market that many people can benefit from, including the vice president,” said the press secretary.

Harris had her two doses of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine in January 2021. The vice president received her first booster dose in late October and a second booster vaccine on April 1.
