Kai Cenat took to his livestream to address accusations that his cameraman, ChrisV, had been sending inappropriate messages to an underage girl on social media.
The girl leaked ChrisV DMs to her online, and the incident allegedly occurred on Dec. 15, 2021.
In the leaked texts, ChrisV is seen texting the girl, “I wasnt kidding. I actually want to get to know you.”
He was initially told that the girl was 19 but then the teen admitted that she was only 17 years old.
They began to text back and forth even after she confessed her true age and later the texts turned extremely explicit as ChrisV described in detail what he wanted to do to the minor.
After the DMs surfaced, Kai said that he had fired the cameraman.
“Right at that moment you’re supposed to drop all conversation. Anything that’s below the age of consent, you’re not supposed to talk to them. It is not cool. You’re not supposed to talk to them, you’re not supposed to do anything. Yo’s just not right to do. You can’t have no excuse for it. You can’t have nothing. You can’t have no say so,” he said in an emotional livestream.
He said he reached out to the minor, who had shown him everything.

“I asked her to confirm the iMessage, confirm the number. It’s confirmed. All that sh*t is confirmed, and I’m just sick and tired of having to do sh-t like this. It’s like damn my n-gga. I don’t know how people aren’t seeing the age and just stopping. You feel me? It’s some messages that look f-cking crazy bro. I’m not sugar coating sh-t. The sh-t look f-cking crazy.”
Kai made it clear that he does not condone this kind of behavior.
