Kai Cenat went viral after he claimed he was contacted by the Secret Service to collaborate with Vice President Kamala Harris who is running for president.
After the story went viral, Harris’ team denied directly reaching out and that he was actually contacted by a member of the DNC and not the Harris campaign.
Social media accused him of exaggerating the story for clout but on a recent livestream, he denied the claims.
“Chat, I want ya’ll to know something deeply, and this is why I don’t touch on the topic of politics, chat. Word to my mother, watch the clip back. I didn’t say no names and on top of that, I would never lie about anything… Just know that!” he said.

At the time, Charlamagne tha God slammed Harris’ team for contacting Cenat.
“Kai hit me and tell me whoever sent you that text, man, because whoever on Vice President Kamala Harris’ team hit Kai Cenat to do a live stream, they need to be fired. Stop letting social media run her campaign. You saw Trump on Adin Ross and you saw the attention that garnered,” he said.
He added: “You saw all the social media start saying the vice president needs to go on Kai Cenat, and you ran to go make that happen. Not even stopping to think, ’Is this organic? Does Kai Cenat even care about politics?’”
