Kai Cenat, AMP Entertainment, Duke Dennis, and others are being sued for more than $1 million by a San Antonio mall security guard who says he was punched during the group’s viral hide-and-seek livestream.
Security officer Don White filed the lawsuit in state district court after the August 2, 2025, incident at the Shops at Rivercenter mall.
White claims AMP members had limited permission to film in certain parts of the mall, but went into several unrestricted areas and kept streaming after the property had closed and that White and other security staff told the group to leave before police were called to remove people playing hide-and-seek throughout the mall.
During the confrontation, the security guard claims Lavoune Clarke, a member of AMP’s security team, punched him in the mouth. White says he needed emergency-room treatment and is seeking damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost earning capacity.
The lawsuit names AMP Entertainment, Cenat, Dennis, producer Henry Wolf, content manager Joshua Pujols, and Clarke as defendants, accusing them of participating in, supervising, or failing to stop the conduct tied to White’s injuries.
Clarke’s attorney, Zachary Green, denied the allegations. “Mr. Clarke has and continues to maintain his innocence pertaining to these claims of wrongdoing,” Green said.
Dennis was arrested that night. His misdemeanor charges were later dismissed after a pretrial diversion program. Clarke still faces pending felony charges.
