Juvenile’s fellow Hot Boyz member Lil Wayne was passed over for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, by he says he is not mad at Jay-Z about the decision.
“So everybody wants me to speak on this Super Bowl situation,” he says in the video. “Look, I’m mad about the situation just like y’all, but my hatred is towards the NFL — not really the people that booked the halftime show. I’m mad at the people that hired the muthaf-ckas that booked the halftime show.”
The rapper says that the NFL should have put a Louisiana hip-hop artist in the performance and that Lil Wayne deserves to be on the stage.
He then addressed NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
“You need to get it right, man. You coming to our city, sucking up out culture and making all this money and putting all this bread in your pocket and other people’s pockets and leaving us to hang out dry. It gotta stop<‘ Juvy added.
