Rapper Juvenile is trending online after he stormed off an airplane after he was asked to move to economy class.
“They trying to kick me off the plane, y’all. They trying to take me out of first class,” Juvenile said after he was told his seat was being downgraded.
Juvenile’s wife was also on the plane and her seat was not downgraded.
“They ain’t putting me in no coach, man! This ain’t never happened to me in my life. Man, y’all tripping. I’m a celebrity. There’s going to be repercussions to be this,” he said.
He added, “I’ma get off the plane. I ain’t gonna let y’all disrespect me like that. I’m not gonna let you choose me out of all people on the plane and disrespect me, so I’ma get off the plane. It’s kinda funny to me, I ain’t gonna lie.”

The rapper added that he felt bad about the incident and will not be flying with them again.
The airline apologized in a statement to Simply Air.
“American Airlines strives to provide a positive experience to every traveler and we apologize for Mr. Gray’s [Juvenile’s] recent experience with us,” the statement reads. “An unplanned change in aircraft type affected his seat assignment, and we regret he wasn’t notified prior to boarding. A member of our team has spoken with Mr. Gray personally to resolve the situation.”
