Justin Timberlake’s arrest went viral on Tuesday but according to a police report, the singer claimed he only had one drink with his friends when cops pulled him over for questioning.
Sag Harbor Police Department released a statement saying the singer was pulled over because he “was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel.”
According to TMZ, the star was out drinking heavily with his friends at the Swanky American Hotel in Sag Harbor and decided to drive himself home when their time. came to an end.

“It was ascertained that the defendant was operating said vehicle in an intoxicated condition in that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” the arresting officer wrote.
While witnesses claimed the singer was clearly “wasted,” when asked about his alcohol intake, he reportedly told them “I had one martini and I followed my friends home.”
