Justin Timberlake has reached a plea deal in his DWI three months after his viral Sag Harbor arrest.

Timberlake has agreed to plead guilty to a less severe offense after initially being charged with driving while intoxicated.

He has signed off on a traffic offense, driving while ability impaired.

Timberlake was arrested on June 18 after leaving a bar just after midnight in his vehicle. Police noticed that while driving, he failed to stop and failed to maintain his lane of travel.

Police said the singer’s eyes were bloodshot, glassy eyes and “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage” emanating from his breath. They also claimed he had slowed speech, was unsteady on his feet and all but failed a field sobriety test.

Timberlake told police officers that he had only consumed one martini, but witnesses say the pop singer was “wasted.”

His attorney issued a statement at the time, denying Timberlake was intoxicated.

“He was not intoxicated. I’ll say it again: Justin Timberlake was not intoxicated,” Ed Burke via WABC. “And we are very confident that charge, that criminal charge, will be dismissed.”
