Judge Joe Brown Denies Assaulting Sheryl Lee Ralph; Threatens Defamation Suit

Lyndon Abioye |

Judge Joe Brown is coming out swinging – LEGALLY. Last week, Media Take Out reported that the popular actress Sheryl Lee Ralph told interviewers about an incident where she was assaulted by a “popular TV judge.”

According to Sheryl, when she met the popular tv judge – whom she didn’t name – the popular judge grabbed her and kissed her without consent.

Sheryl did not give the audience any clues about the identity of the “tv judge”, other than to confirm that the perpetrator was NOT Judge Greg Mathis.

Black Twitter then went into a frenzy of speculation – over WHO was the pervy TV judge. Many on social media suggested that Sheryl may have been talking about Judge Joe Brown.

Sheryl’s 1990s hit show Moesha, and Judge Joe Brown’s show were both produced by the same production company – Big Ticket Television.

Well now Joe is fighting back against the accusations. According to Joe, he has never made the “acquaintance” of Sheryl Lee Ralph. Further, Media Take Out has learned that he’s contemplating filing a lawsuit against anyone (including Sheryl) who continues to float that story around and suggest that it was about him.
