A California judge has issued a bench warrant for Chicago rapper Chief Keef.

The $10,000 bench warrant for Chief Keef is for the rapper failing to show up for a court hearing days ago, according to TMZ.

The charges stem from a DUI case back in June 202 after a routine traffic ended up with him being taken into custody for driving on a suspended or revoked license. The rapper was not yet in custody at time of writing.

Chief trended online weeks back after DJ Akademiks denied reports that he claimed to have made Chief Keef’s career pop. Ak reportedly made the following claims on his Twitch: “N-gga I helped make Keef, n-gga. N-gga, I gave them n-ggas reps they never had. I called that n-gga the Chiraq Grim Reaper, n-gga. That’s why when he’s getting shot at and sh-t happens to him, y’all are looking at it in disbelief. You know why? Cause I created that f-cking vision that he was untouchable.”
