Judge Greg Mathis and his wife, Linda Mathis, are putting their divorce behind them.
Court documents show Linda recently asked a judge to dismiss the divorce case she filed last year, a sign that the longtime couple has fully repaired their relationship. Linda then filed for divorce in August 2024 after separating from Judge Mathis one month earlier. The pair, who married in 1985, had been together for nearly four decades.
Now, the case has been dismissed without prejudice, meaning the divorce proceedings have officially come to an end.
The couple first hinted at a reunion in late 2024, when they appeared together on The Tamron Hall Show and spoke about their reconciliation.
“I’d do anything to get my mother back,” Judge Mathis said at the time. “So I did anything to get my wife back.”
Linda said the time apart ultimately helped them reconnect.
“We learned each other again,” she said. “We enjoyed our time doing that each and every day.”
Judge Mathis rose to fame as the host of Judge Mathis, which ran for more than 20 years. The couple has remained one of television’s most recognizable, long-term marriages and shares four adult children together.
Fans joined in to celebrate the couple for working things out.
